About Our Owner
A native Arkansan with a unique skill set in professional adaptability and creative vision.
Lindsey Woods received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in English Literature and Secondary Education from Arkansas Tech University in May of 2008. In the fall of the same year, she moved to Alaska to serve students grades 7-12 in rural Alaska public schools. There, she discovered her true calling – speech-language pathology. She received a Masters of Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University’s Distance Education Program for Alaskan-based students in the Spring of 2016 and completed her clinical-fellowship year at a multi-disciplinary pediatric clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska in 2017. She opened an LLC that offered contracted speech-language pathology services to various Alaska school districts in 2018 and expanded her practice to incorporate early intervention, long-term care, and teletherapy between 2018-2023.
Now, Lindsey resides in Hot Springs Village with her family and wishes to serve the Hot Springs Village, Jessieville, Fountain Lake, and Mountain Pine communities with quality pediatric and adult speech-language pathology services. Lindsey is certified in Therapeutic Listening – a scientifically engineered music program clinically proven to increase regulation and executive functioning abilities in the pediatric population. Lindsey specializes in holistic, comprehensive case review, skilled interviewing for creating patient-centered goals, caregiver training, collaborative development and consulting for skilled home programs, and tween-young adult social skill development. She aspires to serve adults with neurogenic communication disorders and pursue certification for in-house fiberoptic endoscopic swallowing evaluations (FEES).
